My Prayer For Day 12 of 40
Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another beautiful day. Thank You for the air we breathe. Thank You for the food we eat. Thank You for the roof over our heads. Thank You for this great country we live in. Lord, we know Your hand was on America when it was created, all through our history and even so today. But, Lord, it seems that Your hand doesn’t have a firm grip anymore. It seems like we are slipping out of Your grip at a very rapid pace. Father, we can’t afford for Your hand to come off this blessed country.We can’t afford to slip further and further out of Your grip. We need Your firm hand on us because we tend to mess things up so much on our own, as You clearly see. Lord, Your Word says, that if Your people will humble themselves, pray, seek You and turn from their wicked ways, then You will heal their land (2Chronicles 7:14). Father God, I’m believing this Truth and I am praying that all hearts will be pricked by the Holy Spirit and will realize this Truth and pray and repent and reclaim what we’ve let slip through our hands and Your hand, Father. I humbly ask for this help with the hearts of all Americans from the least to the highest. With this election next month, Lord, I ask that no man without the heart of God enters into the White House to take office. We need a revival!! We need Your hand to grab us tight again and lead us in the direction of Your will for our lives. Thank You for not giving up on us and thank You for answered prayers. We humbly come to the throne of mercy in the name of Jesus,
