My Prayer for Day 26 of 40
Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
it is very easy to have a troubled heart as I look at my nation. We are so divided, and it looks like nothing can bridge the growing divide. It seems like daily there are news stories that indicate that we are moving farther and farther away from the standards of Your Word and Your righteousness. Even all the different media sources have conflicting reports. No one seems to have the answers that we need or the integrity we can trust.
So, Lord Jesus, I turn to You. I trust You. What no political party or individual can do, I believe You can do. Would You step into this situation and bring about Your righteous purposes? I trust You. I choose not to have a troubled heart, but will instead entrust my nation to You. Your Word says in John 14:1…“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” I truly believe this and every other word in the Bible to be absolute truth and to be applicable in my life now and on Your Word I stand. Thank You for Your Word and Your Holy Spirit to guide me in this journey called life. These are gifts beyond measure that only my life as a vessel for Your purpose might repay! Thank You for the opportunity to serve! In Jesus name I pray,
