It has been my privilege to have you praying along with us during this 40 Days of Prayer leading up to the national election. Even though the election is now over, I invite you to join me and many others in the nation and continue to pray for America. I truly believe that the “change” we are all wanting to see in our country starts with us!! And as “iron sharpens iron” I hope that you will chose to stick around and grow in unity to be the Christians we are called to be. We are set apart, a royal priesthood, errs to the throne of God! Regardless of what happens in our great country we can be sure that our Father will make sure we are taken care of. I know we have heard that or read it in the Word of God, but do we REALLY believe it? It’s a good question. I think our faith is going to be tested regardless of who is elected president and I believe 40 Days of Prayer can be a tool for Christians to share there pains, struggles and also praise reports! We need to not only pray for our leaders, whoever they might be, but we also need to pray for each other. One of the best ways to solve our problems is to turn our focus on others! We tend to find that when we focus on others that our problems tend to take care of themselves! I believe in the power of prayer! I believe in America! I believe in Christians and most of all, I believe that our Father will do what’s best for His children! I am a new father myself of a 8 month old boy and I could not imagine wanting anything other than the best for my son. How much more awesome is it to know that you know that our Heavenly Father wants the absolute best for His children! Can’t wait to see what God is going to do in our lives, our homes, our churches, our communities, our states and our country!! God Bless and goodnight!
